Once it initializes it prints out "self test completed" and displays shows a "720.0nm" with a fluctuating reading between 175 -191 A. Pressing stop button starts a test sequence and finishes with a printed report of the leading. Test perfomed without a sample substance introduced. No further testingwas done. Good general physical condition.
