Description
The 3TK2830-1CB30 is an Expansion Unit for the Siemens SIRIUS safety relay family. It is used to increase the number of safety-related enabling circuits in a system. It is important to note that this is a Passive Expansion Module; it cannot function on its own. It must be connected to a "Basic Unit" (like a 3TK2820) which handles the actual logic and monitoring. When the basic unit triggers a stop, it sends a signal to this expansion unit to open its four additional contacts simultaneously.
