The OVFR02A-406 is a heavy-duty Regenerative Inverter Drive (REGEN OVF20 CR) from the legacy OTIS Global Drive series. This unit is a "big brother" to the 404 series, designed for higher-speed or higher-capacity elevators. Because it is a 37kg to 38kg (84 lbs) "workhorse" drive, it is essential for older high-rise systems where modernizing the entire controller is too expensive.
