Description
Allen-Bradley MPL-A4530K servo motor with a Winsmith E24 Reducer creates a high-torque motion control system. The "MJ72" suffix means it has a Multi-turn Encoder. It knows its position even after a power loss, which is perfect for this 30:1 setup because it eliminates the need for "homing" routines, whereas the Ratio (30:1): This is a "single reduction" ratio. It provides excellent holding power (self-locking) but is less efficient (~70%) than helical gears, generating heat that must be managed at high RPMs.
