Description
The SMC D-M9P is a high-performance Solid-State Auto Switch. It is a "reed-less" sensor used to detect the position of a piston inside a pneumatic cylinder by sensing the magnetic ring on the piston through the cylinder wall. The "P" in the part number indicates it is a PNP (Sourcing) output, which is the standard for most modern European and North American PLC systems.
