The TCS2-15/17-48 (CommScope P/N: 778813-000) is a medium-wall, heat-shrinkable polyolefin sleeve used for sealing and insulating cable connections. This is a 48-inch (4-foot) "stick" designed primarily for CATV and low-voltage electrical power applications. The key feature of the TCS2 series is the green thermo-chromic stripes. These stripes turn brown when the sleeve has been heated sufficiently, providing a visual "fail-safe" for technicians to ensure a perfect environmental seal against moisture.
