Description
To round out your Chemiquip set, the 5460 Style M is the "Mid-Range" variant of this adjustable automatic overpressure protector (commonly called a "Gage Saver"). The Style M sits exactly between the Low (L) and High (N) range units. It is the most common version used in standard industrial hydraulic power units, where working pressures often fluctuate between 1,000 and 2,000 PSI. Like its siblings, it uses a spring-loaded internal piston to snap shut and isolate your gauge when a pressure spike occurs, then automatically resets once the line pressure drops.
