The AMRAN CT101-201 is a heavy-duty, industrial Switchgear Style Current Transformer (CT). Similar to the CT103 series we discussed, the CT101 is designed for low-voltage applications but features a slightly different core profile and relay accuracy class. It is primarily used in power distribution centers to step down high primary currents to a standard 5A secondary signal for metering and protection relays.
