Description
Based on the 140 PSI rating and the year 1988, this is a vintage T-304 Stainless Steel variant of the Model 74. While Alloy Products Corp vessels are built to last decades, the T-304 material is a standard grade, offering less corrosion resistance than the modern 316L standard or the Hastelloy. The "W" stamp indicates it is a Welded ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 vessel. Being T-304 (rather than 316L) makes this less desirable for pharmaceutical or high-salt food applications. It is best suited for oils, lubricants, or simple water-based spraying. the 3x4 oval lid is present.
